About ISAE

The International Symposium on Agriculture and Environment (ISAE) is a premier annual event that brings together leading scientists, policymakers, industry experts, and stakeholders from around the world to discuss critical issues at the intersection of agriculture and environmental sustainability.

Since its inception in 2008, the symposium has evolved from a regional academic conference into a truly international forum. Over the past seventeen years, ISAE has consistently addressed pressing global challenges including food security, climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development, serving as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, collaborative research, and innovative solutions.

Organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka, the symposium has grown significantly in both scope and impact. ISAE has established itself as an influential catalyst for shaping agricultural policies, inspiring research agendas, and advancing sustainable farming practices worldwide, fostering partnerships that transcend borders, disciplines, and sectors.
